Bihar Showcases Semiconductor Investment Potential at SEMICON India 2026
Industry Department participates in three-day event at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi; engages with global investors and industry stakeholders
The Industries Department, Government of Bihar is participating in SEMICON India 2026, being organised by the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA) from September 17–19, 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi. The Bihar delegation is led by Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, Resident Commissioner, Bihar & Shri Aman Samir, Director, MSME, Department of Industries,Government of Bihar.
Through its participation, Bihar is showcasing its emerging semiconductor and electronics manufacturing potential, policy support and investment opportunities to national and international industry stakeholders.
As part of the programme, a roundtable discussion with stakeholders from the United States and Japan was organised to explore investment opportunities, technology collaboration and partnerships in the semiconductor and electronics sector. Discussions focused on Bihar’s industrial ecosystem, policy framework and opportunities for developing semiconductor and allied manufacturing capabilities in the state.
The Bihar delegation also participated in Business-to-Government (B2G) meetings, engaging with investors, industry representatives and other stakeholders on potential investments, sectoral opportunities and government facilitation.
Bihar’s Semiconductor Policy 2026, along with its growing industrial infrastructure and investor-focused approach, is being showcased at the event to highlight opportunities for investment and industrial collaboration in the semiconductor and allied sectors.
Through its participation at SEMICON India 2026, Bihar is strengthening its engagement with the global semiconductor industry and exploring avenues for investment, technology partnerships and industrial collaboration in the state.
